Deze week heeft de "International Association of Antarctica Tour Operators (IAATO)" het aantal bezoekers op Antarctica voor het seizoen 2017-2018 bekend gemaakt. Voor het seizoen 2017-2018 telde de IAATO 51707 bezoekers, wat 17 percent meer is dan seizoen 2016-2017.
